Staying at Vila Retezat was a memorable experience for my family. The historical charm of the villa, built during the same period as Peles Castle, immediately caught our attention. The kids loved exploring the regal apartment with our friendly host, who kindly offered a mini tour and shared some fascinating historical insights about the building’s background. The breakfasts were a highlight for our family. I enjoyed customizing omelettes while the kids relished the selection of cold cuts and fresh orange juice. It felt good to start the day with a hearty meal before heading out to explore the nearby castles, just a pleasant 20-25 minute stroll away. Our room, a spacious yet cozy one with traditional furnishings, made us feel right at home. The peaceful nights allowed us to unwind fully. The welcoming atmosphere and kind staff added to the overall experience, making us feel like we were part of a family. We found it an ideal spot for creating lasting family memories.
